897 Students to Be Selected through Regular Admissions

Removal of Natural Science Track Inquiry Restrictions Expands Application Opportunities

Incheon National University (President: In-jae Lee) will select a total of 897 students in the 2026 regular admissions cycle, including 759 students within the quota (including 1 carryover from the 2024 academic year).

Incheon National University will recruit students across all three regular admission groups [Group A / Group B / Group C]. Admissions will be conducted under the following categories: General Student Admission, Equal Opportunity Admission (outside the quota), Rural Student Admission (outside the quota), and Specialized High School Graduate Admission (outside the quota). The number of students to be admitted is 759 for the General Student Admission, 46 for the Equal Opportunity Admission, 55 for the Rural Student Admission, and 37 for the Specialized High School Graduate Admission.

The most significant change in the 2026 regular admissions is the removal of the designated science inquiry subject requirement for natural science tracks. As a result, applicants may apply to any academic division regardless of whether they selected social studies or science inquiry subjects.

In addition, the Department of Exercise and Health Sciences has made major changes to the weighting of the CSAT and practical skills test, significantly reducing the proportion of the practical exam, along with adjustments to the weighting of individual CSAT subjects.

The final number of admitted students may change due to unfilled slots or registration withdrawals from early admissions. As there are also several changes compared to the previous year, applicants are advised to 반드시 review the admissions guidelines before submitting their applications.

Applications for the 2026 regular admissions will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025, to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The announcement of first-round successful applicants for the 2026 regular admissions is scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2026, and results can be checked on the university website. Successful applicants must complete tuition payment by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Failure to pay by the deadline will result in automatic cancellation of admission. Additional admission offers will be announced from Thursday, February 5, to Thursday, February 12, 2026, by 6:00 p.m. As registration periods vary by round, successful applicants should 확인 the relevant details before completing registration.
